Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross 2024 are reportedly set to receive new variants, with their launch just around the corner. Information about the upcoming Mitsubishi Xpander 2024 and Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2024 variants is based on a WhatsApp broadcast message from a salesperson at an official Mitsubishi dealer. “Something new is coming for the Xpander and Xpander Cross, Curious? Very curious? Stay tuned for the launch date…” wrote the message received by Autofun on Wednesday (08/05/2024). From the same sender, the message also invites Mitsubishi customers who want to pre-order the latest Xpander and Xpander Cross. “You can book now to get it first,” the message reads.
According to the broadcast message, a few improvements can be expected for the new Xpander facelift. An Instagram account @indra_fathan also posted about the upcoming changes in the Mitsubishi Xpander, mentioning updates in the exterior, interior, and new features. The new Xpander will come in the Ultimate Black Edition trim, which complements the existing Ultimate CVT variant. The Ultimate Black Edition will feature black accents on certain exterior ornaments, similar to the version in the Philippines. The interior will combine black with silver accents, different from the beige theme in the previous Ultimate CVT variant.
In addition to the aesthetic changes, the new Xpander Ultimate Black Edition is rumored to come with a 9-inch touchscreen head unit equipped with a Multi Around Monitor. The technical specifications of the car remain unchanged, with no alterations to the engine. The new Xpander Ultimate facelift 2024 will also offer a manual 5-speed transmission option, in addition to the existing CVT automatic transmission.
As for the Xpander Cross, there are talks about a new variant called the Elite Edition, which will feature a two-tone exterior color scheme with black accents on the pillars and roof. It will also include a new audio system with a subwoofer in the rear trunk, while maintaining the same engine and transmission options as the current Xpander Cross model.
The prices of the new Xpander and Xpander Cross variants are expected to be slightly higher than the current Xpander Ultimate CVT and Xpander Cross CVT models.
