President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers are set to take part in the military parade commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta. Indonesia is honored by the invitation from the Indian government, granting Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, a place in the front row of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will be comprised of 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo’s agenda includes meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral cooperation, potentially signing an MoU for collaboration in various areas such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
