An Indonesian student named Nadine Ardiani Chairunisa, studying Marketing Communication at Amity University, eagerly awaited his arrival since 5pm. Accompanied by fellow student Demas Fadel Anggara, they described the experience as exciting yet nerve-wracking due to some delays. Other Indonesians present, including Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo’s personal gesture of shaking hands with them upon arrival. They shared their hopes for a successful working visit in India and a promising future under Prabowo’s leadership.
Prabowo’s visit not only symbolizes a new era in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before leaving Jakarta, Prabowo expressed his pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a significant honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, highlighting the strong bond between the two nations. The visit also involves scheduled meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss boosting cooperation on various strategic issues.
