Prabowo’s Motivational Speech Spurs Indonesian Children in Jeddah to Excel

President Prabowo recently visited Saudi Arabia on an official state visit on July 1. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed warmly by Indonesian elementary school children in Jeddah. The children, holding Indonesian and Saudi Arabian flags, cheered and chanted “Welcome, Mr. President!” The event soon turned into a heartfelt gathering as President Prabowo greeted each child personally and took photos with them. One student, Arsad Hanfana Al-Syarabi, proudly introduced himself as his parents work at the Indonesian Embassy. The President encouraged the children to study well, receiving a chorus of “Yes, Sir!” in response.

The interaction not only touched the hearts of the children but also resonated with the Indonesian community in attendance. Hanif Hasanuddin, a representative of Muhammadiyah in Jeddah, expressed his gratitude after meeting President Prabowo. The presence of senior Indonesian officials, ministers, and diplomats underscored the importance of the visit beyond diplomatic discussions.

President Prabowo’s visit to Saudi Arabia symbolized a genuine connection between a nation’s leader and its citizens living abroad. For the Indonesian children in Jeddah, the encounter was both inspiring and uplifting, strengthening the bond between Indonesia and its diaspora. The event instilled hope and pride in everyone who was present.
