President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President took the time to personally read the letters in his office. The moment was shared on the Cabinet Secretariat’s official Instagram account, showcasing President Prabowo engrossed in reading the letters and a handwritten note from a student.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, penned a moving letter expressing gratitude to President Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat. The school has provided access to quality education and ignited the aspirations of the students. The school was established for the 2025–2026 academic year and is managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, catering to children from economically disadvantaged families.
Sekolah Rakyat currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The school has provided opportunities for underprivileged children to pursue their dreams and become the Golden Generation of the nation.
