Sugiono, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, recently expressed his gratitude towards his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who served in the position for 17 years. He credited Muzani for his significant contributions to the party and acknowledged his role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. Sugiono also praised Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad for his efforts in building the party from its inception to its current status. In his address at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, he thanked all party cadres for their support and stressed the importance of unity and solidarity within the party. Moving forward, Sugiono emphasized the need to strengthen bonds and work together to support President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership in creating a just and prosperous Indonesia. The new Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
