President Prabowo Subianto participated in the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, aimed to showcase various innovations and technologies. During the event, President Prabowo visited exhibition booths, including the one from Padjadjaran University featuring VR Dental Hypnosis and other research-based technologies.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, President Prabowo acknowledged the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, as well as other government officials and ITB representatives. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” highlights the importance of research, science, and technological innovation in driving national economic transformation.
The convention also focuses on eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. KSTI 2025 plays a crucial role in the government’s efforts to lay the groundwork for Golden Indonesia 2045, positioning science and technology as key drivers of economic progress.
