Bandung – Calpres number two Prabowo Subianto invited tens of thousands of residents to pray for the people of Palestine who are currently experiencing armed conflict, during his visit to Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GLBA) Stadium, Bandung, West Java, on Thursday (8/2).
In front of tens of thousands of supporters, he reminded them that February 8 coincides with Isra Mi’raj. Prabowo also congratulated the people who were celebrating.
“Brothers and sisters, today, February 8, is a big day for Muslims, as we commemorate Isra Mi’raj, a good day, a big day. I congratulate all the people who are celebrating,” he said.
In addition to giving congratulations, he also invited people to pray for the safety of the Palestinian people. In the prayer, he and the people hoped for Allah’s help so that the suffering of the people of Gaza would end soon.
“Let us, in our midst of joy, remember our brothers and sisters in Gaza, in Palestine. They are always in great danger, suffering greatly, bombarded, many of their children become victims,” he said.
“Let us pray in the presence of the Almighty that they are always protected, helped, freed from all the suffering, threats, and disasters they experience,” he added. (SENOPATI)
