Korea fever in Indonesia shows no signs of abating. Instead, the wave of interest among the younger generation in Korean culture is strengthening and can now be felt closer through a festival called K-Fun Fest 2025. The festival, organized by PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“ICBP”), brings an immersive experience that combines elements of Korean culture in culinary offerings, music performances, and contemporary fashion.

The event took place over two full days on Saturday and Sunday, 10-11 May 2025, at Tribeca Park, Central Park, West Jakarta. Embracing the spirit of uniting local tastes with global inspirations, Indofood presented its popular product lines, Indomie, Indomilk, and Chitato, with a Korean twist.

K-Fun Fest 2025 brought to life the distinctive atmosphere of Myeongdong district in Seoul – the iconic street food, fashion, and globally renowned K-pop music – in the heart of the capital of Indonesia. The festival ambiance was designed to make visitors feel like they were strolling through the alleyways of Myeongdong, complete with tempting aromas of Korean cuisine, entertainment stages featuring hit music, and a variety of contemporary fashion inspired by Korean celebrity styles.

What makes this festival unique is the local touch through the presence of Indomie, Indomilk, and Chitato – brands that are familiar to the Indonesian people. The three brands offer a Korean experience with a more personalized and familiar approach to Indonesian consumers.

Since 2024, Indofood has introduced various Korean-themed products that have successfully captured the market. For example, the Indomie Korean Ramyeon Series offers three unique flavors: Spicy Ramyeon, Fiery Chikin, and K-Rose, all developed with authentic flavors but adapted to local taste buds.

Not to be outdone, the Indomilk Korean series offers unique flavors such as Haenam Goguma, Gangneung Dalgona Coffee, and Seoul Banana, providing a contemporary milk-drinking experience favored by young people. Meanwhile, Chitato also joins the trend by releasing Korean-inspired flavors such as Chitato Rose Tteokbokki and Chitato Lite Seoul Baechu Kimchi, expanding the selection of tempting snacks suitable for various activities, from watching Korean dramas to hanging out with friends.
