President Prabowo Subianto has appointed General Tandyo Budi as Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), along with installing new Regional Military Command (Kodam) commanders, brigade commanders, and Territorial Development Battalions. He also presented the Bintang Sakti Medal of Honor to soldiers for their integrity. Prabowo emphasized the importance of leaders leading from the front, serving as the first line of protection for their soldiers in dangerous situations. He urged military leaders to care for and train their troops as if they were their own children. Prabowo reiterated the TNI’s identity and mission as the people’s army, born from and serving the people, always ready to defend them.
